Payphones are facing extinction.  The once ever popular items of the past are now merely ancient reminders of yesteryears technology. People tend to just walk past them and not even acknowledge their presence. They no longer belong in their twenty first century society.

I chose to document and recognize each payphone I pass. They are a dying breed which I intend on preserving in the form of photography until the very last payphone in existence is removed.
